And I vote "yes" for S&P to be used over the DOW in the 2018 contest
Yes I think we are switching to S&P for next year. And best of luck. I am a big believer in former winners doing repeats. 2x why not 3x?

DOW: 18760
TSX 15112
GOLD: 1191
OIL: 57.11
CDN $ .732

Apparently I was 5th overall last year. Which is a lot better than my hedge fund efforts.
Yes to S&P instead of DOW next time.

TSX: 15200
GOLD: 1215
OIL: 57
CAD: 0.765

Yes I'd prefer the S&P500 for next year too & thanks again for running this :)

Looks like there could be a typo for jakewine DOW estimate.
