Sigh, based on all the hedgie buying, I guess it's time to sell my FFH. :cry:

BTW, how easy is it to short a low priced stock like NT?

Oh, and I think some people are straying from the indexes.

With apologies to Norbert, contestants can pick up a synthetic cash/bond position by going long NB-T which is due to be taken over by FFH-T at $39/share on Jan 13. 8)

Disclosure: I hold both but this shouldn't be taken as a recommendation to actually buy/sell these stocks.

I'll hop aboard if still possible -)

The "Banzai Bull Fund"

I'll go long:

Sandvine (SVC) - 0.81
XCeed Mortgage (XMC) - 0.80

Hmm dunno much about shorting but these two might be losers;

Nortel (NT) - 0.32
H&R Real Estate (HR.UN) - 7.45
Research until your head hurts then scream Banzai!!! and charge fearlessly to victory or death!

:oops:

It was Coventree.

globeinvestor lists it as COF-T so i assumed it was ok. And actually, the TSX website seems to have it on the Toronto exchange - but I'll keep looking cuz frankly, i'm not really confident of my knowledge of the tsx :(

if i must replace it, i'll do so with allied nevada gold - that's on the TSX site too.

Whoa, just found out that TIM was removed from the index last month. I'd still love to use it, otherwise please switch to TCK.B
