1. Deleted board cookies
2. Went to http://www.financialwisdomforum.org/ and then to forum index. Bookmarked it. Have done this several times. Each time the bookmark registered http://www.financialwebring.org/forum/index.php?sid=1ae87c24da55a98aa705a38224ffb4f0
Two strange things with this. First, the ?sid= portion should never be bookmarked, it is a temporary session ID. Second, I know of no path from the server end that should take you from http://www.financialwisdomforum.org to http://www.financialwebring.org. I'm starting to suspect something local to your machine. Do you use a password manager of the remember form fields in your browser? Do you have your FWF credentials stored in the password manager?
3. Bookmarked http://www.financialwisdomforum.org/. Went to another site and then back. Clicked on forum. Again had to log on in order to post.

Every time I've gone to the forum index page it has already included my login info. Each time I checked Remember Me and hit Login. The system seems to remember me but does not automatically log me in.
The fact that the login info is already filled indicates something in your browser it getting involved.

The proper bookmark for the forum should be http://www.financialwisdomforum.org/forum.
I don't understand what Manage "Remember Me" login keys is and how it's supposed to be used.
Since you are having trouble with them, I'd suggest marking them all except the most recent one and then deleting them. This may force you to login the next time, but with the proper bookmark and checking the "Remember me" at login it should keep you logged in.

I regularly visit the forum from both an iPad and an iPhone and I don't recall any problems with staying logged in. I'm using both Safari and Chrome on iOS 8 on each device.

What version of iOS are you using?

That's the same version I'm using, so that probably eliminates that variable.

The FWF setting for "Remember Me" is ?almost certainly? in a cookie. Most browsers also have "Remember Passwords" settings which, if previously set, would likely take effect if an old FWF-URL bookmark were used - even if the cookie has been deleted. So it would be best if any "Remember Passwords" settings, particularly for the old URL, were cleared. Creating settings for the new URL would not delete the old settings.

In FireFox the path is Tools - Options - Security - Saved Passwords. IE, Chrome, Safari, etc, have similar functions. In checking this procedure, I found several old sites that I never use ....

I have no problem with FWF but I found several sites with multiple passwords saved. I deleted all the duplicates.

Are you having problems with the "Remember me" checkbox, or just problems seeing Watercooler when not logged in?

Watercooler has always been a bonus forum, available only to logged in users. It is not visible to guests (i.e. when you are not logged in).

For quite some time after joining FWF I always had to log in to see Watercooler , then awhile back I changed "something" and each time I visited FWF Watercooler showed up along with the rest of the forums. When the new look appeared due to the software upgrade I found myself back at having to do a log-in to get Watercooler.
I have logged in and clicked the "remember me" but still have to log in next time I visit FWF to get Watercooler.
I'm using Win XP and an up to date Firefox.

If the "Remember me" checkbox isn't working properly, the most common solution is checking your bookmarks. Make sure your bookmarks refer to http://www.financialwisdomforum.org/forum.

If you still have a bookmark for our old domain, financialwebring.org/forum, we automatically redirect you to the correct domain, but this causes problems with the "Remember me" checkbox. The only solution is to have members update their bookmarks.

OK works now, I think what happened was my original bookmark was as you say financialwebring.org/forum, so I logged in and then expected when I saved the bookmark after logging it would be the new URL, it wasn't and at no time was I ever automatically directed to the new URL that I know of.
Thanks for taking the time to straighten out this old foggy, it is much appreciated. :)

This worked for a day (for me), but has since reverted to having me log in every day again :(

As I reported earlier the login issue is resolved for me. However SOME email notifications regarding thread activity (Hyperlink)are using the old webring address and some use the Wisdom address. Not a big issue but not sure if you are aware. I delete the webring notifications and click on the wisdom base ones. Dejavu

Thanks, we were not aware of that. I would appreciate if you could PM me with any links containing the webring address. I'll try and get them fixed.

Thanks to a PM from pmj I now understand exactly what is happening. Our automatic redirect from the old domain is only partially working. We're working on a fix.

Of course, if everyone checks their bookmarks and links and makes sure they are up-to-date and refer to http://www.financialwisdomforum.org/forum, then the redirect isn't required.

We believe we know have it fixed. Members with outdated bookmarks or links will now see:
webring forum moved.PNG
and then they will be automatically redirected in 30 seconds to the proper URL.

Thanks to all who contributed bits and pieces to the puzzle and have had the patience to help us get this resolved.
