Lithium-Ion settlement

Post by adrian2 »

Who is eligible to participate in the settlement?

Purchasers of these products (or replacement batteries) may be eligible for compensation in this $44.95 million legal settlement if:

You were a resident of the United States from January 1, 2000 to May 31, 2011 AND
You purchased for yourself or your business (and not for resale) one or more of the products covered by the settlement

Quick and simple to fill out, but don't expect more than a coffee's worth of money.

Will make it not valid for most of us in Canada I think.

For me (and you, presumably), yes, but many members could have been a US resident at any time during those 11 years.

Won't be worthwhile for me... Only one device with a lithium battery, a Point and Shoot camera, was purchased while a resident of the USA.
