Subject: Multiple Account Download Issue - Update

As you know, we recently enhanced your EasyWeb online banking experience. Unfortunately, this enhancement had an impact that prevented your ability to download account activity for multiple accounts. We have been working on resolving this issue, and have now restored your ability to download account activity for multiple accounts. However, we are still working on restoring your ability to save the accounts that you have selected for download, so that you will not have to select them each time you want to download your activity. We regret the inconvenience that this has caused and thank you for your patience as we continue to work on this issue.

Re EasyWeb:

* the bank account transaction download format isn't sticky anymore.

* The link to TDDI (Waterhouse) from EasyWeb (once you're logged in to the latter) now takes you to the TDDI login page where you have to log in again, instead of by-passing that step like it used to do.

I'm trying to contain my enthusiasm for this. :)

Just went to EasyWeb and then into TDDI. Doesn't seem to affect my account.

Looks and acts the same as it always has for me.

Maybe it'll change later for me.

Thanks guys. Those things have happened to me for a little while (not sure exactly), but if not for you then I should try another browser and so on. Will report back if I learn anything.

Same here - using Firefox. Maybe Microsoft's "product placement" bribe was better than Quicken's . And it's annoying that the wider line spacing in the statement results in a longer scrolling process to get to the download button :(. The download button could be right at the top of the page .

This is working for me.

Log in to TD Canada Trust Easyweb, click on an account at TD WebBroker and over you go, click to go back to Easyweb - no changes or problems between them using Win7 IE9 on laptop. Download of banking or trading acc info seems unchanged.
Not sure though what is meant by download 'not sticky anymore'.
Might want to confirm the link if being sent unexpectedly to a page wanting login info where it didn't occur previously - "I will make you phishers of men" used to have a different meaning.

Same here using both SeaMonkey and Firefox. They're both based on the same "engine" so perhaps no surprize.
This is working for me.
Not for me in both browsers. Funny thing is it does work the other way, from WebBroker ==> EasyWeb. I wonder if they changed a timeout for one of them? Sometimes if the connection was very slow I would get a login screen, going either way.

Very interesting! I hadn't noticed those WebBroker links next to the brokerage accounts in EasyWeb, because they're new and because I tend to ignore that information within EasyWeb (which I use mostly to look at credit accounts). I just tried clicking on one and it worked!

What I had been doing, which didn't work, was to click on the WebBroker link that is now at the top-middle of the EasyWeb page. This link replaces the former access to WebBroker by a drop-down menu.

Thank you both, it seems the login transition problem is solved anyway. The sticky problem isn't that bad and maybe they will fix it if the problem happens to all Firefox users.

Not sure if this is related, but suspect there might be a connection. Starting about a week ago, when using WebBroker and clicking on the "Fixed Income" link, I would see a session expired message and I'd be logged out, but only using Chrome as my browser. When I tested using IE 11, the Fixed Income link worked properly.

< :geek: techie stuff>
Based on the evidence presented in this topic, I suspect that TD might be fiddling around with their cookies. Lo and behold I searched cookies (chrome://settings/cookies#cookie) for the term "TD" and based on the problem with fixed income, I deleted the fibondoneselfserve.tdwaterhouse.ca cookie and now things are working properly, no logouts when using the Fixed Income link. Given that others are intermittently seeing problems with TD links, maybe something similar can be checked.

In a similar vein...

1. Check your bookmarks to ensure that you go to https://easyweb.td.com. TD used different URLs in the past with redirection that usually, but not always, worked properly.

2. Consider clearing all TD-related cookies. This may make the first re-login a bit painful as you have to retype access card numbers, play "20 questions", etc.

3. Try a different browser, at least to see if it clears the problem. I've seen all sorts of evidence that TD doesn't test EasyWeb with Chrome, at least not until their customers do it for them on live systems. Often something that breaks suddenly one week works properly again a week or two later.

4. Contact EasyWeb to complain. You can do it from EW. Make sure that your message requests that they escalate the issue to EW development. Otherwise you'll just get a facile canned response from some clueless excuse generator, er, customer service agent.

Once in a while, when I install a bunch of MS updates, I clear all cookies before rebooting. This creates a minor irritation when logging in again but I feel better about being "clean".

I can't login to EasyWeb or WebBroker today using Windows Chrome browser. Internet Exploder as well as their Android app work just fine. So it seems TD broke their Chrome support—again. (Yes I cleared cookies and used a link from td.com to login.)

No problems in Firefox either.

I can't get into TD EasyWeb today either (Chrome/XP (yes, i know, XP)). I'm also getting kicked out of this forum after I sign in though, so I suspect the problem might be either Chrome related or gasp.. with my tech.

I'm using Windows 7. I've tried on two different systems. I've cleared all cookies with "td", "easy" and "webb" in them. I've tried disabling extensions. I've even updated one of the systems including Windows, device drivers and even a new BIOS.

Same result :x

I finally got into TDEW and got stability of use on this site by entering both through Incognito mode in Chrome. What that means I don't know and am to tired and stressed today at work to google it to find out. That is a problem for Monday the 29th's version of Koogie. :P

Incognito works for me too. Now I'm really puzzled.

Incidentally when I went back to non-Incognito mode and tried to login I got prompted with one of the security questions. I thought that TD had fixed this. I submitted the correct answer and promptly got booted back to the login screen.

frohe Weihnachten. I wonder if you ever got to the bottom of this issue with Chrome ? Seem to still be experiencing the issue. I've tried deleting cookies and browser history. Will try and delete the TD bookmarks next.

Nope. The problem also manifests on other secure sites, e.g. Chase's Amazon.ca VISA card site. That leads me to believe it's a bug in Chrome. Chrome Incognito and other browsers (FF and IE) work fine. I've tried disabling extensions without success. Now I'm even more puzzled because I also don't see many reports from others about this.

Why are only a small percentage of Chrome users experiencing this?

I find that Chrome Incognito is "cleaner" than disabling extensions. Makes me wonder what is missed when disabling

I use Chrome and have had no problem accessing TD, TDDI or Amazon. Maybe it's because I know very little about computers. :D
