Report points at Ontario's growth plan as being one of root causes of price rises by attempting to increase population density in GTA. This has skewed supply towards high rise condos/multi-unit rentals & caused growth in single family homes to fall.
No short term fix for this & it doesn't like like announced measures will fix the supply side issue.

Well @Kathleen_Wynne may have finally collapsed the condo market. One of my best clients is selling 7 condos, another is selling 2 :(

She has the best writings on real estate in Canada, especially for people without a technical or analytical bent. By far. If most people who think they know something about real estate (i.e. everyone) knew half as much as she does they would be way ahead.
