I tried subscribing to GlobeinvestorGold.com today to get their stock screener but apparently they no longer offer this kind of subscription.
Can anyone point me to a good stock screener for Cdn and USA stocks. I'm more interested in fundamental parameters, not technical ones.
TIA!

VectorVest is the best I have found. It is expensive but has more than paid for itself. You can try it for 4 or 5 weeks for ten bucks.

The old Globe and Mail screener is here. It's free so maybe it's worth what you pay.

Thank you for those ideas. I like them both.

Interesting. I have been a subscriber to Globeinvestor Gold for many years. The website and apps are all still up and running, but that maybe a courtesy to legacy customers, I don't know. I have 15 years of data on their portfolio tracking tool so that is something I should be looking to import to a different source/system for my own peace of mind. A project for the new year me thinks.bubbalouie wrote: ↑04 Dec 2017 18:23 I tried subscribing to GlobeinvestorGold.com today to get their stock screener but apparently they no longer offer this kind of subscription.

As far as the regular Globeinvestor site and its tools, the screener is quite different than the legacy screener. I'm used to the old one so that is what I tend to work with, but I have watchlists set up on both sites and the new version offers a bit more information such as RoR from the time the stock was added to the watchlist which is kind of interesting from a confirmational bias point-of-view.

Finvis.com has a great free screener for US stocks.
You can find some Canadian interlisted stocks by filtering by country.
