Jumped back into Rayonier (RYN) the US timberland REIT today @$41.29, 31 days after I sold it for tax loss harvesting.
Just received my claim package in the mail from CIBCIE regarding the settlement that was reached in US court on a class action lawsuit against Rayonier, the US timberland REIT.

I don't expect a whole lot in return, but I will file my claims form as I was a beneficial owner during the 2010-2015 time period that the settlement covers. We shall see. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Hopefully there's enough to cover postage and notarization!

Let's not get your hopes up with this kind of unbridled optimism. You should wait and see what your share of the settlement really is. Don't forget, there are still lawyers to be paid.
