I was lucky (or unlucky?) to receive a payout of almost $2000.00 from CIBC last year because an accounting of "certain investments products that I held in their fee based account were determined to have had additional fees collected in error".
My question is, am I able to track down and receive any funds from my Manulife funds that I had held years ago when I was with CIBC Wood Gundy between January 26, 2004 and February 12, 2009?
I have no records (left behind in a divorce). Do they have an obligation to track me down? I am only guessing I would have held the funds that are in question.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Manulife class action settlement
You might want to peruse the last page of this thread where this class action settlement is discussed. Best I can tell, it only applies to common equity shareholders of MFC stock.
