Desjardins ETFs

Post by MikeFreedom49? »

Desjardins has entered the, now crowded, ETF business with the following products:

http://cawidgets.morningstar.ca/Article ... &id=801240

Fund Symbol Mgmt. fee (%)
Desjardins Canada Multifactor-Controlled Volatility DFC 0.50
Desjardins USA Multifactor-Controlled Volatility DFU 0.50
Desjardins Canadian Preferred Share Index DCP 0.45
Desjardins Canadian Universe Bond Index DCU 0.10
Desjardins Canadian Short Term Bond Index DCS 0.15
Desjardins 1-5 year Laddered Canadian Government Bond Index DCG 0.20
Desjardins 1-5 year Laddered Canadian Corporate Bond Index DCC 0.25

The multifactor ETFs might be interesting, the only other multifactor ETFs in Canada are offered by iShares. Unless I missed some other company offering them.

So in the last year the following companies have launched ETFs, I might have missed a company or two.
1. AGF http://cawidgets.morningstar.ca/Article ... &id=790570

2. Mackenzie http://cawidgets.morningstar.ca/Article ... &id=749734 http://cawidgets.morningstar.ca/Article ... &id=757457

3. Redwood (owned by Purpose) http://cawidgets.morningstar.ca/Article ... &id=798281

4. Wisdom Tree http://cawidgets.morningstar.ca/Article ... &id=759770

5. Sphere - http://cawidgets.morningstar.ca/Article ... &id=749403 http://cawidgets.morningstar.ca/Article ... &id=773236

The ETF landscape is becoming another wasteland. An utter travesty to the concept of KISS.
