I've been learning about array processing in Excel. I decided to practice on Norbert's spreadsheet of annual returns found at: http://www.libra-investments.com/re01.htm
I've come up with a spreadsheet which compares 1, 3 and 5 year returns of the four regions of interest to Canadians: Canada, US, EAFE, Emerging Markets. More useless trivia, I know. Returns of the first three start in 1970. Returns of Emerging Markets start in 1988. There are no macros.
Clicking on the spreadsheet read-only link should put you in Excel Online. If you want to change the parameters you can download a copy or, if you're logged into your Microsoft account, copy it to OneDrive and change it in Excel Online.
As far as I can tell, it's working correctly. But I'm a rookie at array processing. Hopefully, if there are any errors, someone will spot them.
