PotashCorp Announces Doubling of Dividend
Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (PotashCorp) announced today that its Board of Directors has approved an increase of the company's quarterly cash dividend (from $0.07 per share to $0.14 per share), and declared a quarterly cash dividend of US $0.14 per common share payable May 3, 2012 to shareholders of record on April 12, 2012.

"In addition to using our strong cash flow to grow our world-class fertilizer business, we have a proven track record of returning capital to our shareholders," said PotashCorp President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Doyle. "This announcement to double the dividend - the second time in the past year - reflects the confidence we have in the drivers of our business and our commitment to creating superior long-term shareholder value."
Doubling the dividend for the second time in the past year. That's shareholder friendly.

Another company that's had a pretty good track record of increasing dividends over the past 10 years (only missed increasing in 2009), RICHELIEU HARDWARE LTD. | Richelieu's sales increase by 17.2% and exceed $500 million for 2011
Increase of 9.1% in the quarterly dividend which increased from $0.11 to $0.12 - a dividend of $0.12 per share has been declared and will be payable on February 23, 2012 to shareholders of record as at February 09, 2012.
For those that don't know this company, next time you are in a home improvement store looking at knobs and cabinet hardware, look at who is the importer and distributor marked on the display and/or packaging.

Another 8% from National Grid (NGG), and 4% for the two following dividends to be paid in 2013. Now that's clarity.
Our dividend is an important part of our returns to shareholders along with growth in the value of the
asset base attributable to equity holders. The financial year 2011/12 is the last year of National Grid’s
current dividend policy which has been in place since January 2008. The Board has agreed a new one
year dividend policy under which we plan to increase the 2012/13 dividend by 4% in nominal terms
over the forecast dividend of 39.28p for 2011/12. This policy reflects the outcome from the one year
rollover review of TPCR4 and forecast inflation of around 3% for the same period. As previously stated,
we expect to announce a new dividend policy for the period from April 2013 in 2013, once outcomes of
key regulatory developments are clear.
This new dividend policy will apply to the interim dividend to be paid in January 2013 and the final
dividend to be paid in August 2013. The final dividend to be paid in August 2012 will, subject to
approval at the 2012 AGM, continue to reflect the existing policy to target dividend growth of 8%.

Praxair Board Authorizes Share Repurchase Program; Declares Quarterly Dividend | Business Wire
The board of directors also has declared a 10% increase in Praxair’s quarterly dividend to 55 cents per share, payable on March 15, 2012 to common shareholders of record on March 7, 2012. This is the 19th consecutive annual increase in Praxair’s dividend.
Another company with a pretty good track record of rewarding shareholders. I keep running the numbers on this company, but Mr. Market won't price it attractively enough for me to become a shareowner.
