Well, I missed to "elect" the tax deferred option by Dec 29 so I guess it will be considered as a "deemed" desposition Dec 29? However, since settlement date is T+2, is the deposition belong to 2018? As of today, Jan 3, I still see POT.TO appearing in my portfolio, when will it be changed to NTR and available for sell, if needed?

I'm in the same boat. I'm pretty sure this will be a 2018 transaction for your taxes.
