Historical USD-> CAD Exchange Rates

Post by InvestorNewb »

Hello,

Bank of Canada used to list monthly historical exchange rates on its web site in PDF format. I can't seem to find this section anymore. I need to go back to the year 2016.

Is there another web site that offers this information in a downloadable format?

Thanks

Use the CSV format and open it in Excel.

Hey there,

I looked at the spreadsheet and it doesn't seem to show monthly averages. It shows close, high, low, and noon rates at the start of each month.

I found this web site: http://www.canadianforex.ca/forex-tools ... rage-rates
but would prefer to use a site that lets you download the rates. It's for taxes.

I use one of Randy Harmelink's Excel add-ins to extract the values I need.
