gummy-stuff, eh?

Post by gummy »

Okay, so I've finally decided to leave my http://www.gummy-stuff.org sandbox (after all these years, eh?) Image

However, I've also decided to make all that "stuff" available here, in compressed format:
http://www.gummy-stuff.org/CD-gummy.rar
It's (about) 145 MB and ya gotta un-compress it.

Ciao!
gummy

P.S.
I'll still be chatting it up on my blog:

And, of course, it's available in uncompressed form at http://www.financialwisdomforum.org/gum ... index.html .

Ciao, Peter! And best wishes!

The gummy-stuff archive is now located here. The archive has been cleaned up and reorganized, with many duplicate (and some triplicate) spreadsheets removed. Gummy's retired (that's what he says, anyway; this would be the third or fourth time, I think ) so the archive will be completely static from now on. A zipped copy is available for human readers.

There is no obvious way into the tutorials at Pietro, that's me. The link is buried down the page.

Should it be more prominent?

I always knew where it was but only because I've been there many times. Someone who's never been to gummystuff may not find it.
(I always thought it should have been top row centre).............and bigger.

But, some may say that Uncle Gummy's final wish as overlord of gummystuff was for it to remain free for all and unchanged.

Maybe just a bigger button.

Yes. I searched "call options" and the result from the search for the domain financialwebring.org/gummy-stuff was this.
The result from google.com was this.

I got search results from the search in gummystuff on the page you linked.

The search worked for both Chrome and Firefox.

Can anyone provide any sort of update on gummy ? I realize he retired from this sort of activity and I don't think I've heard much since. He was a wonderful, great person / character and I would appreciate any news that can be properly shared. gyr.

Thanks Keith and P-I. The Cruise reports are vintage gummy.
For those newer posters who are not familiar with gummy, I recommend to check out at least one cruise report.

Even the youtube is vintage gummy, editing photos and video with text overlaid.

(I can't help thinking about the saying: "A brilliant mind is a terrible thing to waste!" - I guess that is what retirement is all about...)

(Maybe he had to leave the rat race behind for fear of another Ponzo Scheme!)

Agreed, he's never wasted it, just look at the 400+ spreadsheets, and all the other stuff. He did a lot before retiring. He was a 'blogging junkie' before blogging was a word.
