As per GOOGLE
Peter Thiel's Founders Fund, Coatue Management, Union Square Ventures and Founder Collective all advised their startups to pull their cash from the bank, people familiar with the matter said.

The button says'..... this time' and I still appear.
As I said no big deal. I was not trying to 'hide'. I just happened to tick off that button at login, and then happened to notice my handle in the list of users.
Thanks for your help.

Whatever of the $25K RRIF withdrawal that is over the minimum is the part that will be subject to the withholding tax.
.......
The minimum withdrawal is exempt when withdrawn, but is still INCOME at tax return time

I had one of these beasts which occas8ionally did the same thing. With 5 discs in it would usually work, and sometimes it required a few re-tries. BTW, most of my CD's and DVD's can be found on YOUTUBE or some other source. I just have not "found the time" (lazy) to throw them out.

.......... and ask people to be careful.
Good luck with that. Watching the footage from Ottawa I would say less than half were masked. And likely unvaxxed.
I agree wuth the 'reopen', proof of vaccination required.
1) the elderly or those with morbidities are not likely to run around in crowds, or will be properly protected
2) if the fully vaxed get it , it will be a mild case ( for most of them), for serious cases give them priority
over unvaxxed in hospitals
3) if any anti-vaxxers get it, good on them, hope they suffer .... yeah I know, that's not nice.

Re: Humour 2022
So, reading between the lines, none of those who got COVID-19 but were vaxxed were hospitalized and got over it. Doesn't that speak in favour of getting the vcaccine ?kcowan wrote: ↑27 Jan 2022 10:15 Same here, not funny!
Last year in Mexico, there were two cases of Delta with one death.
This year, many of our friends have had it. It seems to be everywhere! All triple vaxed.
We are using masks all the time but contract it over dinner!
So far we have avoided it but we have had dinner with friends who recovered.
I'm not implying that you're against vaccines.

I have been thinking about the time when someone sounds the 'ALL CLEAR'. How is that going to work, How will I react ?. I don't think I'll go out and pub crawl. In fact without the mask it will feel strange, kinda half naked, for a while.
CHUCK says " So I would say, damn the torpedo's and it's time for the vulnerable to self govern. If you feel at risk, minimize your exposure. If you feel safe, do as you please. Government should get out of the way.
How do you see the 'ALL CLEAR' unfolding ?

Re: Tax Returns for Deceased Spouse
I don't know about other banks but RBCDI is dragging their feet. My wife died. I was the executor and sole beneficieary of her RRIF and TFSA accts. They immediately froze both accounts. It took them 2 weeks to confirm that I was the beneficiary by comsulting their paper records. Something to do with the fact that these accounts were created vefore 2010. Anyway, then they informed me that it will take 10-12 business days" for them to send the required forms and guide of what they need.... death certificate, copy of will, etc. I received the forms a couple of weeks later and a letter explaining that this process can take 6-8 weeks. They also appointed an "estate specialist' to help me along. He was actually helpful but everything el...
